Our Spring Luau is our most popular event of the year.  Grap your flip flops and favorite Hawaiian shirt and join us for an evening of food, games, crafts and our silent auction.

THANK YOU to everyone who donated towards or Silent Auction!! We will have amazing baskets to bid on! We will also have a new component to our Silent Auction this year - “Fund-a-Need”! As you are probably already aware, our district will be going through major budget cuts again, and the money we get to fund our Arts and Technology programs is less and less each year. At the Spring Luau, we will welcome any donation to support Technology (computers in the lab, software & more: $32k goal) and the Arts (Meet the Masters, field trips, assemblies & more: $25k goal). If you can't attend the Luau on May 18th, you can still donate!! Please make a check payable to LRES PTA with Fund-A-Need in the memo and give it to your teacher or drop it off in the front office. Ladera GoCard is here!

We would like to make you aware of a new program LRES is participating in called Ladera GoCard. It’s a great way to raise money for LRES while you’re shopping around Ladera Ranch! You should have received two GoCards in your folder last week that you can load and use as a Reloadable Gift Card at many Ladera Ranch businesses including: Z Pizza, Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, Roma d' Italia, Swirlz Frozen Yogurt, Juice It Up, Ladera Sweet! Candy Store, Les Pop Sweets, Sweet Mama's Cookies, Ladera Flower Shoppe, Hala's Paws, Party Land (Ladera Ranch), Ladera Ranch Dance Academy, and California Martial Arts Academy. A complete list is available at www.laderagocard.com To sign up go to www.laderagocard.com with your card ready and follow the on screen directions. Each time you load your cards for use around Ladera, 6% goes right to OUR SCHOOL. Very easy and cool! Our goal is to get as many parents using their card when they shop at participating stores as possible. The great thing is that you can just shop where you probably already do, using the GoCard, and raise money for LRES PTA.
